I woke up this morning to a beautiful day! 70 and sunny.
I went to the Impossible Project store first thing. It was amazing. Such a cool old building, and the huge photos on the wall and all of the vintage cameras in the case made it all worth the trip. I picked up a few more packs of film for my trip, since I don't have enough ;-)
Next stop was the A Salt & Battery restaurant in Greenwich Village. A friend of mine told me about it. It's a fish and chips shop that was featured on Throwdown with Bobby Flay. It was pretty good. I had a picknik on the bench out front (there were only about 6 stools inside).
I spent the rest of my day shopping and walking.I got a great handbag for my daughter and a couple of tops for me. Here are just a of photo that I thought were interesting along my walk. There were keys all over the building in beautiful patterns.
Now, after a wild ride to the airport I'm having a huge Tanqueray and Tonic while waiting for my plane which is going to be a half hour late.
